Questions and answers
Frequently asked questions
Straight answers about our stainless-steel kitchens: materials, custom sizes, installation, warranty, government supply and how to get a quote.
Our equipment
What material do you use?
Food-grade SS304 stainless steel as standard, and laboratory-grade SS316 on request, in a brushed, mirror or satin finish. Seams are welded and ground smooth, and surfaces are polished to a professional finish. Our made-to-order tables, sinks and stoves have a 1.5 mm (16 gauge) top plate, with 1.2 mm bodies and shelving and square-tube posts with adjustable bullet feet; bought-in equipment such as fryers, ovens and refrigeration keeps the specification shown in its catalogue notes. Our guide to SS304 and SS316 explains which one suits your kitchen or laboratory.
Can you build to custom sizes?
Yes. Everything is made to order, built to your exact dimensions. In the catalogue, our configurable products let you set your own length, width and height, and for any other item you can ask us for a quotation built to your specifications.
Do you also fabricate railings, gates and other metalwork?
Yes. We fabricate railings, gates, structural and sheet-metal work to your drawing, in stainless steel or mild steel, for commercial and residential sites. See stainless-steel fabrication.
Quotes, installation and warranty
How do I get a quote?
Use the online quote request: choose your equipment and sizes, and you will see an estimated range for your selection. We then review your request and send you the final quotation. No account is needed. For a larger project (a hospital, school, hotel or commissary), send us a full project brief instead.
Do you install?
Yes. We design, fabricate, deliver and install, then commission everything on site. Service and support continue after handover.
What warranty do you give?
We give a 6-month service warranty on our equipment and work. Full-kitchen projects also include 12 months of preventive maintenance service (PMS) with KitchenShield™.
Do you supply exhaust, fresh-air, gas line and fire suppression systems?
Yes, as part of a commercial or commissary kitchen fit-out: exhaust hoods and ducting, fresh-air systems, gas lines and fire suppression, all from one contractor. See our services.
